nobody: I don't think the merged idea is the same thing really. The merging isn't perfect, but its ok for now.

In terms of kicking people who are sitting I don't think I will do this. If you close your broswer window or become unresponsive in someway, (internet down), you will leave your seat after 1 minute.

But if you leave your window open you stay seated. It's fair because you pay blinds... and the person seated may want to keep their seat and chip count.

An optional solution is to kick the person off the table after a set amount of time, but only if he/she has less chips than the table buy-in.

This could save me serious money in blinds. ;)

yeah, just 1 hour ago, the server didn't respond, I close the window, but when I went back, I found myself seated, and I lose a big amount of blinds :)

how about first of all ryan gets a server that doesn't suck, so that you don't get lagged out and marked 'away' every single turn. Now that would be nice.

Yeah, people away for 1 round should be kicked, it's only fair.

In fairness, I'm at fault a lot of the time because I play in work so if I get busy I completely forget about poker.

Pleas yes, I was just away for 90 minutes and never got kicked from the table... just anted every time. Very irritating.
