It might interest you to know that the Sklansky hand group rankings rank the two hands in question as follows:

TT is a group 2 hand
KQ off is a group 4

TT is a mush stronger holding than KQ off suit, had the KQ been suited the strength of the holdings would be comparable, but that was not the case. See below

Group 1: AA KK QQ JJ AKs
Group 2: TT AQs AJs KQs AK
Group 3: 99 KTs QJs KJs ATs AQ
Group 4: A8s KQ 88 QTs A9s AT AJ JTs
Group 5: 77 Q9s KJ QJ JT A7s A6s A5s A4s A3s A2s J9s T9s K9s KT QT
Group 6: 66 J8s 98s T8s 55 J9 43s 75s T9 33 98 64s 44 K8s K7s K6s K5s K4s K3s K2s Q8s 22 87s 97s
Group 7: 87 53s A9 Q9 76s 42s 32s 96s 85s J8 J7s 65 54 74s K9 T8 76 65s 54s 86s

Having looked at the play above I simply cannot understand why brushem_ took charge of the action betting out on every round only to fold the hand having put $83K in the pot, probably chasing the straight.
Groove, maybe a stiff post-flop raise would have pushed rain-man off the pot. I guess he didn't believe you held a Q because his outs and pot odds were lousy.
As Butcher said, happens all the time here since it's all pretend money. I guess a cash game would be very different.

hey all, rainman here, i thought it was a good call, however real money would've been a lot different, i never would have called. as you can see by my current rank, i will call if i have a good hand and if i lose then i lose and in my opinion TT is not a bad hand

and sorry, but i called only 25k after the flop which was Q, 4, 8, at that time i believed my TT was good. then the turn was a 2 so obviously i thought my TT was still good, therefore calling 50k and when the river was a T, i obviously was going to go all in, grooveguy, if you think you have the best hand then it only makes sense to play it the best you can and judging by your rank today, you must do the same
