i dont mind been beat dont get me wrong, but when your holdin what u think is a killer hand and u push in,eg u have kk and the guy behind u has j 3 or j 2 and calls, i dont no how many times ive lost count but he will either hit 2 pair or if they are suited will hit the flush. ive now found u are better off playin the bad hands on this site 2 be rewarded, when u fold a bad hand guess what happens, u guessed it your cards hit, so what im tryin 2 say is gpoker is teachin players bad traits. i dont mean 2 be goin off on 1, i enjoy playin on the site there is some gr8 people and players on board i just thought id bring it up and see what others thought. cheers and thank you

Dylan, one of the main reasons for this is the loose/passive style of free money games. The likes of KK get busted more often on 'free' money games because players will call with any two cards much of the time. Unfortunate but unavoidable.
BTW, I still reckon AA is much better holding than J3.

i kno excatly wut u mean dylan... if u read the 1 word WOW entry u'll see wut i mean... i called an all in with KK 1.4mil flop helped me... turn helped me more and the river gave him the win when he had a 1.9% chance of pulling the ONE card that would beat me, think about that for a sec... i had a 98.1% chance of winning he has JJ with Q89 [h] on the table there was one, ONE card taht would beat me... and he just happens to river it??? i think there's something wrong with that...and its not only me i've seen things like that happen to a TON of players... they have the hand and the person who called has like 1-5% chance of winning and they pull it off... i think that this needs to be fixed... that never happens as much as i have seen it in the real world... and i watch the world tour pokr tours, i have a poker night ever week... and that has almost NEVER happened... although on here it seems to b a regular occurance... sorry ryan but that needs to be fixed immediatly

Sorry to burst your bubble a bit there, sure it was a bad beat, but not that bad. I also had bad beats yet, it's a part of poker. I had almost 20% chance to win the hand preflop, and this 20% include straight flushes just like sets, full houses, straights or flushes. My hand made up more than yours at the end, that#s what counts and not the straight flush.
Usually there's no reason to talk about things like "rivered" after a preflop all in, but I'll do it anyway:
After turn and river any 10 or Jack would have made me win, I don't understand why you think only the straight flush could have helped helped me.

But the only important point is I had 1almost 20% preflop to win and got lucky, how and when isn't important after a preflop all in. If you play a hundred of these situations you'll win 80 of them, that was one of them where you didn't, happens to everyone.

Here's the hand again:
Starting Hand
Dealing pocket cards: [Jh, Jd]
sboll raises $30,000
pishkashi84 folds
Ostborn83 folds
*smitty* folds
Butchahussein calls
Stu Ungar 92' folds
Dirty. Harry folds
badasscyborg folds
Neatfellen raises $60,000
sboll raises $1,950,000
Butchahussein folds
Neatfellen calls
Dealing flop: [8c, Qh, 9h]
Dealing turn: [8h]
Dealing river: [Th]
sboll shows [Jh, Jd] for a straight flush Queen high
Neatfellen shows [Kh, Kc] for a flush King high
sboll wins main pot $2,883,520
sboll wins side pot $554,490
Neatfellen stands up

You should have won in 4 of 5 times you play such a situation, higher vs. lower pocket pairs. This time you were unlucky. That's one of the reasons why I hardly play the high blind tables because there are always situations where you did nothing wrong and still lose all. I did something wrong, not expecting to have the worse hand here, but I got lucky. That's all poker, that's what makes this game so interesting.

i said the same thing about it being rigged and all i got was a bunch of lil bitches like sboll saying i was just a bad player..heres the truth dylan..gpokr is a FREE SITE..but the creator still makes money from the ads u see such as facebook, google etc..as a marketing executive heres how...texas holdem is a boring game unless ur constantly winning with such shit as j 3 and j 9..aka shithands..its data rigged for constant action which in turn makes it "really fun " hence the more people who wanna play..hence the more ryan can charge companies to place their ads! for example 10,000players = $100 and ad a day but 100,000 players = $1000 a day. what happened is he gave holdem a bad name for enhancing the odds but made himself a ton of cash..i wouldve done the same..wouldnt be suprised if deuces are wild next month..gl and remember all if u base ur skills and percentages of gpokr and go to a casino theyll rape ur ass!!!!
