Beside the fact that a second account got nothing to do with cheating but with the comfort of not have to talk to people all the time if you dont want to be reconized.

Well Alfy~very very interesting subject! I have some very dear friends here that have more than 1 account and if they are happy~I'm happy for them! However~ there are players here that have more than one account to play STUPID games with other players! Now that is where the MORAL character comes into play! And to put it nicely~these players are pathetic losers here and I'm sure in their own personal life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep~this is my opinion and ~YES~ it does count!!!

I think people that CHEAT using exploits is discouraging to legitimate players who enjoy this site. I don't think that can be argued.

Alfdog 2 bets 1500 loses, stands up
Alfdog 3 sits in
Alfdog 3 bets 1500 loses, stands up
Alfdog 4 sits in
Alfdog 4 bets 1500... ect.

People that actually have a stack make the risk of calling, while these people risk nothing, because they can rebuy their 1500. And I know I'm not the only person who's dealt with this.

Also, "alfdog" is an old nickname, because my name is Alfred. If I was implying "alpha" I would have put it in my name.

I'm not a Psychiatrist, I copied and pasted a definition of the word "Character". If this bothers you, maybe you should read the definition again.

I was talking down to people. I was talking down to the people who cheat and abuse the site. I didn't name any names, I didn't call anyone any vulger names. I only called cheaters "cheats". Do I have to defend myself for that?

Well firstly, why do you consider multiple accounts cheating?
If Jokers were wild cards, would that be cheating or just a slightly different game?
Have you ever played Blackjack and played more than one habd at a time?
Keep in mind that this is GPokr and not a real Texas Holdem tournament (which is not possible as we are not playing for money).
Why should I have only one character after all...I certainly have more than one way of playing.

BTW, to use your example:

I just LOVE it when betters do this (I actually spend time trying to find them).
The reason being is that they are usually betting $1500 on very poor odds, which means my chances of winning are much better.
In situations like that, I play VERY tight and I win the vast majority of the time.

Alfy Baby~~The bottom line here is~if you use multiple accounts to play against each other~YES that is cheating and Ryan should watch for that! However, if you sit and play and win on one account and transfer it to your main account~then~hmmmmmm ~I dont think thats cheating! Buuuut who cares what I think??? hahahahahahhaha I sure dont!!haha

Second : as for multiple accts, as it is mentionned by Country Girl, there are "valid/understandable" ones and "sneeky/condamnable" ones. So a basic rule would not solve the pbm..
Having 3 or 4 accts, playing "straight" with them all and then transfering money to the most successful acct seems NORMAL.
Having 10 or 15 accts, playing "all-in-at-every-hand" and then transfering to the luckiest acct, is OBVIOUSLY a BAD thing, and even if it's not considered as a cheat, it isn't part of the rules of the site (playing "friendly").

u know as well as anyone alf that the smallest tables are used as a springboard to the larger table,i have 3 accounts,main one being "bobsoice" because the small tables require a fair bit of luck.However,when i make about 10k i move up a table,those people who keep all inning is sad but who cares what they do,the good players will come out of the small table and will be seen on the bigger tables.Basically,using more than 1 account doesnt neccesarily mean you're going to make easy chips especially if u are to make top 100 or higher
