The biggest reason is that so many people have been so ignorant on this site. This is not true of all players.

Yes, I complain when I lose, I rant and rave. - I am an energetic, competitive sportsman, coach and mathematics teacher. Odds are important to me, and I love to win, and hate to lose. If you think I have wronged you, I apologize. But personal attacks over a stupid game - I do not.

THAT is my biggest complaint -- the personal attacks -- the unkind, unnecessary, unfriendly, atmosphere at many tables. The rude comments, the vicious speech, the heartless hurl of written words - spoil the fun and nature of the game.

For example, since I changed my avatar (for the humor of it) - I have been attacked consistently with racist comments. PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE. No one even has an idea of what color I am - AND IT SHOULD NOT MATTER. Second example? the comments that were falsely made and continuously spread and crudely suggested about my wife and family - WHOM NO ONE EVEN KNOWS ON THIS SITE.

The comments about Ryan are mostly cruel when we play on HIS site. Play here long enough and you may feel that the program is tilted. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. But the personal rants against Ryan are unwarranted and simply not kind.

Kindness may not mean much to some, but it does to me.

LAST COMMENT: Someone asked me why not just leave the million I had accumulated this month and let it ride and enjoy the medal. I DON't WANT TO BE HERE WITH MANY OF THE PLAYERS WHO ARE SO BRUTAL AND INSENSITIVE IN THEIR TREATMENT OF OTHER PLAYERS. So the medal means nothing. Thus - I gave it all away.
