This site should be more successful than it is, even in a cluttered market niche. The main features are good:- monthly format with medals, tournaments that rarely exceed one hour, member benefits etc
There must be dozens of ways to attract and retain players. My top of the head thoughts are.. Clean up the trash on the forum (it lets the site down).Appoint moderators from each main time zone who can edit. Stop trying to be so fair with warnings and reasons given for bans. You have trusted adviors - let them take instant action. Stop allins on the 50-100 table.Make it harder to progress ,then membership with its 25k start becomes more attractive. Communicate more. Make one or two changes per month and tell us. Tell us more about future plans. Occasionally ask for ideas and feedback. Involve your customers. There must be many more... |

Traffic must be down - look at the low winnings needed for a white medal, or even a blue. We need more players who can actually play. |

at 4:39 AM, Sunday April 4, 2010 EDT I'd settle for the site being cleaned up.
Let the mods delete offensive posts and reviews. Also more mods would mean offensive chatters could be muted instead of being allowed to spout their garbage and causing distress to the decent people who use this site. |

at 6:04 AM, Sunday April 4, 2010 EDT great constructive comments Scrooge, (as allways)the problem is i think ryan has lost interest in this "project" and moved on to other things, i don't know how we change that, other than him handing the site over to someone who is keen to improve it.

at 10:51 AM, Monday April 5, 2010 EDT I agree, we need to find a way to either get Ryan involved, or he needs to sell it to someone who would actually care.
Maybe there should be more moderators, but I hear the only way to do that, is to get specifically appointed by Ryan himself. |
