For the past 3 days I am not able to play in Members Tourney's while I am at work.
I keep getting a message that says "To prevent cheating you can not join the Tourney you have the same IP adress as cash-Man. I have rebooted the computer etc. When I am at my business I do not have the same IP addess as my home IP address Juststarted happening and I am getting upset over it as I am a paying member and I should be able to play in a Members tourney even IF Cash-Man has joined here at home. I have 2 internet connections and 2 seperate bills. I am asking that you Mod's please help straighten this out for me.
I have no idea why all of a sudden this issue has arised but I want it taken care of. Is there something I should be doing differently all of a sudden? I have a Laptop that I take to work and I don't connect with it wireless because there is no reception at the store it is a "Dead Zone". So I connect by plugging in....anyway 2 different Interent connections, 2 seperate bills, 2 different IP addys.....HELP~!!!!

When you rebooted did you also clear the cache/cookies etc from both computers? I sent the post to Ryan to look at.

My advice is to stop playing poker at work and try getting an "employee of the month" plaque. ......
I know, that's the craziest thing ever said on gpokr. LOL

I just wanna be able to play my Members Tourneys......

If restarting and clearing your cache does not work, you will need to email Ryan.

The moderators do not have any control over the technical problems.

Is there anyone else at your work that plays? I have never seen that error message say another players name or for play in a Tourney for that matter. We have had problems for ages of people being able to play multiple accts in tourneys.

No Annat there is no one else at work that plays Gpokr. I have a small business. What happens is when I take my Laptop from home anc connect it at the store for some strange reason the Gpokr site is still reading that my IP addy is the one from at home still. It is not it is a totally different connection. Plus I am not connected wireless at the store either as it is a complete dead zone.
So does anyone have Ryans email address so I can write him? It is the end of the month and I would like to play some of the big toruneys coming and with Cash-Man being out of work right now he is at home playing the site as well....so any help getting his correct email will help and hopefully some of the Mod's have spoken to him so he gets on it right away.

Turn off your wireless when you connect at work.
Then, clear your cache. If using Firefox:
Tools
Options
Advanced Tab
Network Tab
Click "clear now"

Restart your computer.

I know it is frustrating. I have been there as well. This is the only thing that we know to do.
