But in regards to your hand, you probably should have bet half the pot on the flop. Maybe a 1/3rd of the pot to keep them in.

On the turn I would have bet 2/3rds of the pot.

On the river I would have gone all in.

You want to gradually build your pot up and get value for your hand. You don't want to wait for others to build up the pot for you when you have a hand.
