i dont know if i was an away at your table or not but i had intention to play i jus didnt get a popup until halfway through the actual tourney

but then ive had computer problems before and got on after a round of hands and then come back and gone on to do well. i should not be denied that chance.

What it SHOULD do is automatically fold your big blind hand if AWAY when youve been AWAY for the previous hand imo

So you think everybody playing should suffer just because one individual has computer problems? We all have computer problems now and again. Tough, sit it out until the next tourney comes round.

Taking no shows out on the big blind is only a partial solution - it doesn't prevent the hugely annoying wait as the no show clock winds down each time.

If in doubt, kick em out!

the annoying wait at the start of the tournament can be avoided if everyone sits out at at the start. 2 minutes to press the sit in button should not be a problem.

And also if an awayer moves to another table, he/she should still be away to avoid another unnecessary delay.

But I don't think someone should be kicked out of the tourney if they have connection problems or missed the notification.

Awayers have paid their entry fee, are paying their blinds and have a right to remain at the table until all their chips are gone.

I've played in many of these tournaments with awayers and routinely see players allowing awayers to 'see' flops because they refuse to raise preflop. It's pathetic.

If you can't beat an awayer perhaps you're the one that shouldn't be at the table.

Would you complain about awayers in a real money tournament with a decent prize pool? Thought not.
