In that case Del, players with that big of a stack should not be able to play at that table. Also this was his play style early on before he had such a large stack.

I generally assume that large chip stacks always give the benefit of 'speculation'. You have money to spend on chasing draws and trying to fishing flops.

In the (very) early stages of building a stack, I find myself playing many hands... 8 9 suited is just as good to me as AK at the 1500 tables.

Once I've got an intermediate stack (15k-25k) I find myself playing a little more conservative. I look to capitalize on good hands more than anything else.

In late stages of a large stack (Relevant to the table I'm playing on)... there is generally faster growth or decay of the stack because you are willing to try and make something out of less than great hands rather than 'only' playing great hands.
