at 2:18 PM, Monday January 27, 2014 EST Hey TennJed, poker is perhaps the most frustrating game out there, gets me vexed and elated in equal measure. But that's why we love it, because it's unpredictable, random and to play we have to deal with incomplete information.
The hand you've described looks very standard. There are literally thousands of examples from live play of real bad beats and coolers on youtube. Here's a classic that might cheer you up from an adjusted perspective point of view. One of the featured players will be down c. $300,000 by the end of the hand, and though the loser took it like a man on TV I'll bet he kicked seven bells out of his favorite teddy when he got home that night. Check out this classic hand.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYxzAaBPR50 |
