They were named after medal winners. When Ryan installed the new server, these were the names that he chose. Really not sure if we will go back to the old style or not.

They are ugly and random and some of them I find a little rude. I did ask Ryan one time where the names comes from and he replied with laughter I made them up. I dont think I will ever get used to not having the tables named after players. Also was another little reward for the next month for what ever stage you got up in the ladder. Bit more personal.

yeah,used to be nice,the better you did the previous month the higher your table was.

I think the new thing sucks and some players try to rank higher to get a table in their name.Its all for fun.
