Rules for Chat Please?

Just would like to have some consistency on how you can lose your chat. I see MODS at tables where people are cursing and nothing happens. I also had a MOD tell me to use "-" or "*" when I get mad and want to curse and still had my chat removed because it was "implied"? Just want to know the rules so I don't have my chat removed in the future but can still play poker where you are allowed to vent your frustration as long as you are not harassing anyone and just made at the game.
