at 9:45 AM, Wednesday August 14, 2024 EDT I have reported the latency issues to Ryan. I am not able to fix it or I would have.
There is a trick that I posted that can help with lag, if using a laptop or PC. I am not sure if this works if using mobile. When you begin to experience lag or notice that another players timer is frozen, follow these steps: Right-Click the Gpokr logo Select Open in a new tab Once the page loads, you will have 2 tabs open. You can close the first one that is frozen or leave it open and toggle between the 2 tabs. Note - with 2 tabs open, you can refresh the browser and this will avoid you losing seat/hand/bet. The key piece to this trick working is to "catch" lagging issues quickly. Opening a browser in incognito/private has been found to help as well. Also, clearing cache and cookies used to help with lag. I am not 100% sure whether these still help or not, but the trick above has worked. |
