Hi Ryan,
Here is my thoughts on the changes you have made recently: 1.All the recent changes and work you have done are very good except the issues listed below in my opinion and need changes. I know you are trying to attract more players here but the site is getting worse than ever. We are even doing 100k bets preflop and checking it down to see who wins due to how many free chips we are getting, this was never done in the past when you had to earn them with playing hands only. 2:The bounties on each table are too high and is making people play differently some not even playing poker and it's going to kill the site. If you ask any of the decent players would you recommend anyone to come here and play here, 95% of us would say no unless it's to kill time due to the play here. As soon as they win a decent hand they leave the table sit and wait for the bounty to refresh knowing its another 200k or 500k depending limits. I seen someone get 128k for 2nd in bounty on Monday for being +30k and playing only 4 hands. I was +1.2mil on 1/2K and got 70k more its crazy. I think max the bounty should be limited at 150k each table and all goes to the winner. 3: Giving people extra chips for playing hands is just promoting bad play and it's just pushing people to all in blind. Sit and watch some hands on the 500/1k or 1/2k table. I understand this to get more hits and people to join or play Gpokr. Would you give them free $ if it was a cash site to get action?? No you wouldn't. Everyone is now calling 20-30 x BB with 45 suited 67 suited or even 78 or 89 off suit etc. Knowing if they hit they will win the bounty and run or even get another 50k for playing a certain amount of hands. Lab, Suo and many more just sit and wait for high pockets and just shove all in to win 2k in blinds due to this reason as they are not good enough to fold them when they are beat by junk cards. 4. You should be able to sit at any table with any amount of chips you have. Amoos mentioned this last week with no response, as you have over 10m you can't play a table is crazy. 5. There is the still a bug that kicks you off the table mid hand or wont allow you to bet and lags you out for no reason around 3-5 times per day, we all have this issue. Keep up the good works. For table bounty its 100 hands. This could be 500 or 50. Another thought is that this could be fixed. Like a day or week, rather than # hands. I personally like the idea of getting a weekly cadence to the month competition. For the team bonus for #hands its 100 hand increments. This could also be smaller or larger. 100 seemed like a good spot but maybe it should be 200 or even 500. Also 5k increments seemed small enough, but this could be a different scale. An side effect of this that is nice is that it promotes playing a lot with a primary account rather than a little with lots of alts. Lets find the right numbers and make a change for March 1 |

Maybe a bounty every 200 hands at the 1k, 2k 5k and 20k. Every 100 hands lower is reasonable. Reason i mention the bounty is this: Kruger and Amoos played over 800 hands heads up on 20k while everyone else in different time zones are sleeping. Amoos won 4mil and I salute that! but he got over 2mil in bounties from heads up play. All the regular players who play day in day out dont even have 2mil in chips for the month. If you limit the bounties on the top 3 tables to 150k it keeps the competition closer and not a large gap between top 25 and top 6. The teams is a great idea you have done, maybe do 4 x Weekley competition with rewards along with the monthy competition. 1m for winning team. top 10 players players get 80k each, the balance is split between the rest of the team even. As Lars and Amoos have stated, sometimes there is no table action in their time zone and may us getting action while they are sleeping and alot of bounties is making it an unfair competition. |
