Dear Ryan,
I write to you today in order to submit my interest in becoming a mod in your game Kdice. I feel that the game needs someone that will both take the job seriously but be lax as well. By lax I mean someone that can still play with the rest of the community and not take the discipline to an over extended extreme. The kind of game that you have created needs a sort of watch-and-study approach to mod?ing. If implemented I feel that the game could rid its self of the abusive people that it has attracted.
To put it simply I would like to bring a new style of control to the game so that every player feels that they are playing in a fair and just environment. Now please do not get me wrong on this matter. I do not think that banning everyone that has PGA?d will solve anything, because it won?t. But if the right examples are made and a presence is felt then the game should come to a more mature existence. The fact of the matter is: cheating will always exist, but it can be controlled. I think that this is something that has been over looked by the previous mods and is part of the cause to the game?s current status. PGA and other such activities has become the status quo and therefore are deemed as acceptable. Why, because the bans that have been given out are mocked and seen as nothing more than a roll of the dice. I think that if the bans were more stabilized,, and the game more controlled, the situation would die down. To continue on my approach I would say that key ?cheaters? get perma-baned and other given suspensions as needed. To this you need more mods and this is where I would come in.
I play your game more than I probably should, but I love it. I do find the cheating to be annoying however; therefore I am driven to try to correct the one thing in the game that makes me question its entertainment value. In the year and a half that I have played I have always enjoyed it, but I have also seen a progression in the cheating and it scares me. I would be more than happy to be empowered with the abilities to correct the problems that plague the community. Therefore, I again assert my interest in becoming a Kdice mod.
Thank you,
