If opponent folds there should be a 'show cards' option, to show you really did have a good hand.

at 4:19 AM, Wednesday December 30, 2009 EST This is not a good idea, it should only be an option if the person so chooses. Too bad if you choose to fold, no one is forcing you too. That is the whole notion of bluffing.

Go Fish" Showing your hand if you fold is stupid. Because people do bluff or simply decide not to call the last bet. Not a good idea sorry~!!! |

There would be a button which appears for a few seconds which you can either PRESS or NOT PRESS. If you press it, you can show that you had a good hand or you can show a bluff. Why would you want to do this? Well, showing a bluff may mean players are more likely to call you next time round as they think you are bluffing. Therefore, if you've got a good hand, you're more likely to get paid off. Alternatively, if you have a tight image, you can bluff more as people may respect you (well maybe not on this site) more. You don't have to press it, and there should be an option to auto-muck winning hands. |

at 12:56 PM, Sunday January 24, 2010 EST Again this is a bad idea. They don't have this option in REAL poker. I know why don't we just have a big Stamp That says "Bluff" like the "Away" one that we can press so it is stamped across our avatar.
Damn people if we are going to come up with rediculous idea's like these then the game can not be called Texas Hold Em..........I vote NO~!!! |

You've obviously never played live poker. I show my hand quite a bit in tournaments, showing both strength and weakness. It's definately not against the rules. Also, try playing on a site like pokerstars, there is a big button when you win a hand that says "Show cards". Try watching High stakes poker cash games on tv or youtube. They bet stupid amounts with 72 offsuit then show the massive bluff. Before you try telling everyone how much you know about poker, get your facts right. Like I said before, if you don't want to show, you don't have to. |
