Why???

hmmm, it seems that only few ppl have problems with CG...
I think when they stay far away from and dont respond on eachother, the rest of us wont be bothered with it any longer..

I understand your sentiments Masuhujo and can see they are genuine and honourable. However, without wanting to get this whole thing started again, there is a difference between tolerating other people's foibles or idiosyncrasies and tolerating blatant and outright racism. If we did just "turn away" from this kind of attitude and behaviour, we would be living in the dark ages where the middle class white man oppressed all others due to their differences.

You are correct, we must tolerate others and tolerance is an honourable and fine quality to possess, however with that comes the responsibility to know when not to tolerate. Bigotry and racist dogmatism is abhorrent to me and I cannot stay away, keep quiet or tolerate this kind of thing. We all have a responsibility to enforce our believed accepted decent morals and a culpability to the consequences should we not support what we believe to be humane.

So, its just a guess here and correct me if Im wrong, but isnt this an issue between a few ppl? Its clear some arent friends with CG and they seem frustrated with whatever she writes.

CG is no angel and she fights and scraps with the best of them. However, that said, I will always call her friend regardless of what others think because she has a truly decent and honorable nature most of the time (when she stays away from politics and political correctness issues). I live in a racially diverse area of Denver and I for one have seen greater bigotry and racism from blacks to whites here than I ever saw from whites to blacks in my lifetime. That doesn't excuse or condone the reverse but it certainly makes it easier for me to look a blind eye when someone has simply had enough and expresses that. Perhaps those of you who profess to be lily white and now call for CG's expulsion should try to take a walk in her shoes. Go to a predominantly black area and live for a while. If you still feel the same about racism continue with your attacks, if not or if your unwilling to participate in this experiment, then stop and desist in any future discussion of racisim on this site. The world is crumbling because of the uninformed and apathetic. Be a part of the solution not a root cause of the problem.
