Here's an idea: why not allow players to flag other player's avatars as offensive? When that player collects enough "flags", his image will not be shown to other players until it has been manually reviewed. Meanwhile, it would also be great to give the offending player no indication that his picture isn't being shown; that should discourage people from finding ways around it.

A player by the name as "old MAn" had a horrible animated porn avator - ( mini video clip), don't mind if the guys want to have something sexy, but do really not want to watch anal sex.

one way to solve this issue: offer a little red button with white cross as an on-mouse-over for every pic. so people can deside for themselves to remove certain pictures they might find irritating or offending.

no difficult issues about flagging and reviewing. just instant satisfaction of individual needs. ;)

the person who is offended can only block that avatar for himself, so it doesnt show up on his screen anymore. that way, everyone can make his own decision about what is irritating, distracting or offending. and the flag-review proces is prevented.
