Hey guys lets use this thread to discuss ethics in playing gpokr.

My first contribution:

1) Just to be fair, when someone in play gets lagged out, we shouldn't try and kick him out of the game. It has happened to all of us, and boy does it suck.

FWIW I lose ISP connection once a week on average. I agree it does suck to get lagged, but losing Internet connection is worse.

Don't announce your folded cards before the hand is over. I have played hands where 3 7s come up on the board and someone says "oh man I folded a 7". This gives the players a lot of information and may create an unfair advantage

you should not use cards as your picture. it's confusing to new players. i was tricked once.

also, if you are here to play, then PLAY. don't focus on the IM, talk to your friends, and miss your turn every time! this is not msn, people.
