Firefox and Mozilla lockups

With firefox 1.5.07 and Mozilla 1.7.12 on Ubuntu Dapper I can only play for an hour maximum (usually maybe 30 minutes) as after that the browser locks up completely.

memory usage does seem to creep up gradually while playing, but only to a peak of about 10mb more than when it started. At the point it actually locked, both memory usage and cpu usage actually dropped dramatically |
