New Refill Rule

Just wanted to post a note that soon a new refill rule will be added. The rule restricts refills to one every ten minutes like before. The difference is that it is IP based so it will apply to all of your accounts.
So if you reach your limit on one account, log out and log in to another account, you still won't be able to refill. The reason for this change is to encourage better poker playing at the lower tables. |

at 11:10 PM, Wednesday April 23, 2008 EDT I payed for and maintained my second account so that when the crazies drove me out I could come back in and look for a sane table right away. All your new rule does for me is give me a reason to drop to one account. You lose my membership fees forever on one account. I'll see how it goes but waiting 10 minutes to play each time a foolish bet drives me to respond with another foolish bet may be too long a wait and I'm not certain I'm that patient. You might want to consider the time factor and lower it slightly maybe 6 minute instead of 10.....

at 11:25 PM, Wednesday April 23, 2008 EDT I just got eliminated by two players using high levels of funds to bully the table I was on. I had Q/8 and was finally forced after they raised to $1500-2000 preflop for several hands to attempt to win against their bully-betting. Now because of your new rule I have to wait ten minutes before getting back on. Your new rule isn't fair to players coming in to the lower tables unless you also limit players with nearly unlimited funds from competing unfairly at the lower tables. Example two players raise to $2000 before the flop continuously on a lower table to bully the starting players out of the hands

You should note that refills are typically immediate. You don't wait 10 minutes from when you lose your money. There just has to be 10 minutes between refills. So if you refill, play for 15 minutes and lose all your money you can immediately refill. I think this is very fair. The rule kicks in when you try to refill and have already refilled within the last 10 minutes. Get it? In other words, if you can hold onto your cash for over 10 minutes you won't have to wait for refills. |

at 3:38 AM, Thursday April 24, 2008 EDT I do understand Ryan but sometimes 10 minutes seems like 10 hours especially when you just lost (again) after getting wiped out at a higher table. It happens....
