Yamaha Girl~I have chosen to comment on this subject being everyone knows you are speaking of me! The "ADMISSION" you are referring to was made to quieten some of my "critics" being I only wanted the subject to be put to rest! I NEVER CHEATED!!!! And I will stand by that from that day forward! Several of my FRIENDS decided THEY wanted me to have a medal! Why crucify me and my friends for an honest jesture? Hindsight is 20/20 and I can guarantee if I could go back, it would never happen! However, it did and it will never be put to rest simple beacuse of folks like you! Ryan chose me for a moderator and I will be grateful forever for the trust he placed in me! But who are you to come and tell Ryan that I am not "above reproach"? You dont even know me!!!! Oh, I'm a grandmother and sometimes I do go down to their little levels to make them feel special~because they are~so if that makes me a "child"~so be it!!! And on this site and in my real world~I want ot live my life as a snowflake that leaves a mark and not a stain!

Moderators are volunteers that can mute rude and abusive chat and reset inappropiate avatars.

Most regular players would like to promote an environment that is fun and friendly, rather than a site where chat abuse is commonplace and racist/sexist avatars are left unchecked.

It is my sincere hope that many more regulars will volunteer to be mods and join the battle to curb the foul language and insulting behavior that often takes place here.

The loan for medal thing that happened ages ago has absolutely no bearing on the functions of a moderator and as such is a completely separate discussion that has already been done to death.

Using the analogy 'children running the candy store' is not only wholly inaccurate but also a mildy insulting cheap shot.

Moderators have no control over loaning/borrowing/donating/taking chips. Their sole function is to reduce abusive and inappropiate behaviour.

Emotional, yes, most will tell you that I play the game with some semblance of poker rather than lotto and I have been known to become upset when some idiot calls ridulous hands to a large preflop and beats me on the river, idiot play does make me mad but very abusive???? I think not and if I feel I have over reacted toward someone, I am always first to apologise next I see them.

Could I be the moderator who censors the occasional overflows of loveliness, hugs and kuddles in the forums? It makes my hemorrhoids worse. Too much sugar is bad for the teeth.
