THE 173RD AIRBORNE BRIGADE MONUMENT WILL HAVE A GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY JULY 11-2008.THIS MONUMENT WILL HONOR THE 1,643 KILLED IN VIETNAM AND 59 MORE KILLED IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN.ALL OF US THAT SERVED WITH THE 173RD ABN. BRIGADE WILL NOW HAVE A PLACE TO MEDITATE AND HONOR THEM.SINCE I GO TO FORT BENNING GA.FOR RANGER REUIONS I WILL NOW BE AGLE TO SEE IT AND MY RANGER MONUMENT. I WAS WITH THE 173RD ABN. BRIGADES RANGER COMPANY.
