Just a small suggestion for all the pathetic, hard done by, complaining, punters, who aren't happy with a free site, which gives them unlimited refills so they can all-in with whatever crap they want to, then refill. Those who want the site to crash. Those who call it's creator a fag, slag the mods, and generally run the site down. In fact, anyone who says they hate this site. If it's so bad that it makes you feel that way, why don't you just FUCK OFF?
Of course, maybe you would have to pay to play if you did. Oh well. Happy GPokring all. |

Irony much?! ------------- cigsmokingman wrote at 8:20 AM, Wednesday June 30, 2010 CDT Sorry Drub, Irony doesn't apply in this case. ------------------ Punk In Drublic wrote at 4:46 AM, Friday July 2, 2010 CDT take a class cigs, irony does apply. ------------------- Sorry Drub, you are wrong. Your problem is that you are equating Graham's post with those Graham is commenting about. You do this when you say, "Complaining about complainers?" So, you're saying that Graham's paragraph-long post (in which he provides a helpful suggestion) is equal to the terse comments (ie. "fuck off ryan" "i hate gpokr, et.)which he is analyzing. As I originally said, "Irony doesn't apply in this case." Irony is a nuanced word that is defined in several ways, but it's generally understood that an outcome contradicts expectations. Had Graham posted, "I hate all these Gpokr complainers! They suck." You could call that ironic. Another reason you're wrong Drub is because Graham doesn't use the best term when he says "complaining"... it would be better to just call them what they are: troublemakers. And, again, this shows you why irony doesn't apply. His post isn't a "troublemaker's post." It's an analysis. Your suggestion that it is I who should take a class, though, is most certainly delightfully ironic! |

The maker of this site will not change the randomness or whatever u call it. It favors the idiots and the experienced great players will play well but again it favors the noobs in the end of hand. The good players left now the top 10 are always full of noobs. Just leave and dont play again here, peace. |

you need to explore the full meanings of words and stop your assumptions. that might be hard for you, but i encourage it. |

at 10:57 AM, Saturday July 3, 2010 EDT Am I missing something here aren't members still playing to be on this site. Its a free site otherwise sure but there problems with it and you may not think you are paying for it but how much do you think Ryan's getting payed for that big full tilt banner up there. Enough for you as a player to have a gripe about just about anything you like. No offence to you Graham as I know where you coming from, but if you don't like the whining in the forum or the calls for this and that, don't read the forum posts as it 'aint going to change'. Just like Ryan's not going to change his card randomizer. If he did maybe I would pay a small fee to play as I have done in the past. I reckon I've payed enough dues to question practically anything on this site myself and its not against the rules. But I have to say I'm tempted to do as you advise.
