It was 1 minute away from a tournament starting and was just a few hundred $ below the buy in. I asked if I could borrow from a fellow player, who will remain nameless, and they kindly donated this small amount. I entered the tournament (which incidentally I played poorly and went out early) due to my preference for tournament play on this site. Do people generally think this is wrong? I personally don't see a problem in it as I take the "more the merrier" attitude to the tournaments. Any thoughts?

Seems like a whole bunch of you spend a good part of your time on this "fools" site, whether you pay or not. There must be something you like about it or you wouldn't keep coming back. If the "fool" made the site, runs it, and owns it, then his rules are your rules when you visit his site. If you don't like his rules, then it seems like you would either (1) not return, or (2) envision, create, finance, and run your own site, with it's own set of rules or lack thereof .........

When the site has almost declined out of existence, isn't this just academic?

How much is a Kabab and chips with a bottle of POP, that lasts about 5 mins, guessing you would enjoy that, do you get it for free though? Nobody is saying you have to pay anything hence you play here, how ever if you feel you enjoy the site so much a simple $5 so 3 squid (less than school disco when i was in school) may be worth it :) Am sure the usual people will say MUG/IDIOT BLAH BLAH BLAH but thats good as my 3 squid allows you to do this.
