i am friends with CC on facebook, and log in today for the 1st time in a few days and find a few message's on facebook wall from family and friends saying that he DIED on friday!
hope this shit is not true, but if it is true RIP CHEMMY YOU WERE 1 COOL MOTHER FUCKER! THOUGHTS GO OUT TO HIS DAUGHTER AND HIS FAMILY!! |

You guys got it right: he was awesome, ridiculously funny, completely in love with all types of music... a marvelous dad (although he didn't always think so)... believe me he was a fantastic dad... you should have seen him with his kid it was like two kids together ... his daughter has his same humor too! ...to see the two of them clowning around together was beautiful...
He was a very tough person and also very sensitive... an extremely complicated person... a lot of people who knew him only picked up on the tough guy part and missed the rest... A lot of people didn't realize how incredibly smart he was... but it's pretty awesome because it seems like gpokr players really knew him because reading through the comments so much of it was 100% accurate. I can tell you that Chris was very fond of a lot of people on this site. Life on a day-to-day basis was always difficult for Chris, so he'd just find ways to make things funny... I talked to him every day for years, and every day, guaranteed, he'd have me laughing so hard that I'd end up coughing... If it weren't for Chris and his mother I'm not sure I would have made it through high school... He was my best friend for a long time, and me and the gpokr crew and his family miss him terribly, and I don't think that's ever going to change. If you want to have a little tribute for him... go somewhere and play the Butthole Surfers at an extremely loud volume. He'd get a kick out of that. Thanks to everyone who posted here. It made me sad and happy at the same time. |

I could go a couple of months not seeing him on the site and it was like we had talked just the day before. Our friendship wouldn't miss a beat. Thanks for all the laughs Chris. I love you brother. |
