There are too many times when there is all-in on any price table and the results are (example) 5/7 in the hand and the tables provides 55777 in some order. This just happens too often to make me feel comfortable.

Far too many people see flops far too often. Raises are often not respected so wierd hands often make the money. I have raised to $2800 pre flop with AA on $200 table only to be called by some fool with 54 offsuit. They hit a 2 pr and I lost about half my stack. It happens. I bet $6000 sitting on the button after the flop on a $200 table and got called by someone with bottom pair (4s or 5s). In reality the same player would not have put a hard earned $50 (real cash) on the table. There are a lot of novice players out there that want to see every flop and bet every hands because to them it is fun that way. Make a mental note of such players, wait for you opportunities and take their chips. You can take advantage of the wild plays made but protecting premium hole cards is very difficult. Gpokr requires that you modify your game and take account of the unique conditions that are produced by a free monthly competition. It can still be a lot of fun and is by far the most sociable poker game this side of Alpha Centuri. Just have fun |
