at 7:11 PM, Wednesday March 24, 2010 EDT Hi PHC, sorry to see you have left us, I always enoyeed your company at table. I hope all is well with you and life is good even without gpokr...lol. Sorry also it has taken a while to answer your question but I rarely check reviews on my profile whereas wall postigs actually send an e-mail reviews dont.
Anyway, to answer:- when you buy membership it sets in your PayPal account as a subscription and you must login to your PayPal and cancel this yourself to ensure no further payments can be taken. I hope this helps, if not drop me a line on my wall and I will try to do a Step by Step for you. Good Luck and Take Care Theresa (TLP) |

at 12:52 PM, Monday March 2, 2009 EST Hi phc, we were taking about probability of selected cards on the flop yesterday.
Here's how you can calculate that stuff. Say you have AK and want to know the chances of an A or K coming on the flop. You know about 2 cards and 50 cards are therefore unknown. The flop, 3 cards from 50 (use nCr on calc.) is 50C3 = 19600 There are 44 non-Ace/King cards in the deck, so a flop with no Ace/King is 44C3 = 13244. The probability of a flop with no Ace/King is 44C3/50C3 or 13244/19600 = 0.678 Therefore the probability of getting a flop with Ace(s)/King(s) is 1 - 0.678 = 0.322. Near enough to 32% This includes all ways of Aces/Kings coming i.e Axx, Kxx, AKx, AAx, KKx, KKK, AAA Same math can be used to analyse any probability on the flop |
