An update is that these 2 players have been banned for 3 days, and no chips removed.
in my humble opinion this sends out the completely wrong message!
so now, as it seems, its ok to cheat because all you lose is 3 days play. You get to keep all the chips.

Agree Peb,sad that any player would try to boost their self esteem by cheating at anything, especially a for fun poker site. They should not only lose all chips involved but also all medals which most likely were earned the same way.At least now we know that I was right a year ago.

From what I can tell all other mods would have just given a warning, as first time being modded which is standard policy. But we all know especially many of those who has transferred chips in the past (me being one) can see this is obvious so mr nice put a that 3 day ban. I know you are all going to scream and shout at me for this, but I think it was a fair call by mr nice. And Vag all I can say is LOL (Fairly stupid for an intelligent man)

sorry maddie the ban was decided "by a committee" of mods not 1. and i know for a fact that there are good players here that WON'T play again if this is the final extent of the punishment.

funny being a mod sometimes. I am great when I do things , but when I don't do what players want I am dirt. I have rules to follow...first offense is usually a warning. then it progresses after that. In the time I have been a mod, I wont mention names, I have only had 2 players that have had their chips removed. That is not my call, only ryan can decide this. neither of the 2 that were taken actions against have ever broke any rules, but I still chose a 3 day ban. I could of only gave a warning. I am not authorized or have the tools to remove players chips. I also will note that I wasn't around to view what had happened.
