at 2:11 PM, Tuesday June 16, 2015 EDT First I would like to say I am not making accusations that players were cheating. I am merely looking at the 2 hands in question. I did try to ask texasholdempoker why there wasn't a call on such a minimum raise and got no answer.
these were preflop hands from the evidence I saw: texas raises 94,500 vag rerasies 103,499 texas fold $198,499 (difference of raise 9400 w/ no call) 2nd hand texas bets 196,999 vag reraises 199,000 texas folds $355,999 (difference of raise 2001 w/ no call) this is the evidence that was presented to me. In my experience and I have banned others for this also, it appeared to be an obvious transfer of chips. Since both players were in the hands, I removed play from both players. I am not judging either one of you or putting blame on either of the players also. It was a very large amount of chips w/ no call for the minimum raise. It appeared strange to me. I also want to say that I personally didn't view it, but was passed the hand information to me. it was copied and pasted by a few players to my email. The reason for a 3 day ban was due to the fact I didn't see it happen. If I would of seen it I would of had a chance to question players, and possibly remove the players until the start of next month. I really hope we are done w/ this forum thread now. It is getting a little ridiculous to keep going on and on about it. 3 day ban is not that serious. |

at 2:53 PM, Tuesday June 16, 2015 EDT Can I say that you were right in your decision on this gnice and it IS getting ridiculous, from what i have seen Vag is asking for a chance to prove his innocence and not getting it, I'm not saying he did/didnt cheat but i was around when it happened and all i could see was a witch hunt from other players who have done the exact same thing in the past. The real issue here is not the length of ban or any actions taken its the fact that other players don't like vag and wont give up til he's gone... and in my book that is persecution. Also i would like to add that texasholdem is not getting the same response from the other players, I wonder why?

at 9:52 PM, Tuesday June 16, 2015 EDT You may have hit the nail on the head there. Vag has insulted and tried to humiliate to many people on gpokr and more is cheat/no cheat, is just the nail people want. But hey only 3 day ban, wouldve taught me a lesson when I used to help people out a few years ago. (lol note no more, dont need to). Time for everyone to move on to next chapter.

at 11:01 AM, Thursday June 18, 2015 EDT "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" is a quotation from the 1602 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It has been used as a figure of speech, in various phrasings, to indicate that a person's overly frequent or vehement attempts to convince others of something have ironically helped to convince others that the opposite is true, by making the person look insincere and defensive.
